At least nine people have been killed after Israel initiated a major ground and air assault in the northern occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian health officials and media reports. The operation, which commenced early Wednesday, involved hundreds of ground troops, supported by fighter jets, drones, and bulldozers, targeting three areas simultaneously: Jenin, Tulkarem, and the Jordan Valley.
