Israel claims killing of Hezbollah’s Hassan Nasrallah
The Israeli military asserts it has killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in a large-scale airstrike on a heavily populated neighborhood in Beirut on Friday evening. The Lebanese group has yet to issue a response.
Meanwhile, Iran’s supreme leader condemned the attack, stating that "the massacre of defenseless people in Lebanon" demonstrates Israel's "short-sighted" strategy.
