Israeli strikes claim nearly 100 lives in Gaza as hunger takes hold in the enclave
Nearly 100 Palestinians have reportedly been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza in the past 24 hours, including 75 casualties from airstrikes targeting two homes in the northern town of Beit Lahiya.
The Government Media Office in the besieged territory describes the hunger and suffering among Palestinians in Gaza as having reached "catastrophic" levels.
