Israel strikes near Damascus as Syrians celebrate liberation
Al Jazeera’s correspondent in Damascus reported that Israeli airstrikes on Friday night targeted the headquarters of the Syrian army’s fourth division and a radar battalion in the surrounding countryside.
Meanwhile, tens of thousands of people flooded the streets of Damascus and other cities across Syria to celebrate the downfall of Bashar al-Assad.
