Zelenskyy Visits Saudi Arabia for Peace Talks as Russia Claims Advances in Kursk

Ukraine’s Zelenskyy arrives in Saudi Arabia for peace discussions, ahead of upcoming talks with the United States, while Russia asserts gains in the Kursk region.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Saudi Arabia for talks with the kingdom’s crown prince and prime minister ahead of discussions with U.S. diplomats on a bilateral minerals deal and efforts to end the war with Russia.

According to Saudi state television, Zelenskyy landed in Jeddah, the Red Sea port city set to host the Ukraine-U.S. summit on Tuesday. On Monday, he met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, while Ukrainian officials, including Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Defence Minister Rustem Umerov, are scheduled to engage with their American counterparts on Tuesday.
